Jennifer Chapman Arnold is an attorney experienced in business litigation, contract negotiation, general civil litigation, and appellate litigation. Since joining Chapin Fitzgerald Sullivan & Bottini LLP (then Chapin Wheeler LLP) as an associate in 2007, Jennifer has worked on bad faith insurance disputes, third party insurance disputes, shareholder and investor litigation, class actions, product liability actions, personal injury matters, employment disputes, wrongful death cases, and lawsuits involving attorney malpractice, defamation, invasion of privacy, physical and financial elder abuse, wrongful termination, wage and hour violations, breach of contract, interference with prospective economic advantage, and fraud. Before becoming a civil litigator, she served as extern to Federal Magistrate Judge William McCurine, Jr. in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.
Ms. Arnold is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, the Business Trial Lawyer's Association, and the Lawyers Club of San Diego, and serves on the board for the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego and on the board for the New Lawyer’s Division of the San Diego County Bar Association. She is admitted to the California Bar and to the United States district courts for the Southern District of California (CASD), the Central District of California (CACD), and the Eastern District of California (CAED).
Ms. Arnold is also active in the San Diego community and has volunteered her time to organizations including the National Association of Parliamentarians, the American Institute of Parliamentarians, the Robert's Rules Association, and she is serving as a Court-Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) with Voices for Children, an organization providing advocacy for children in the dependency system.
