Curtis Carll, an experienced civil litigator, joined Chapin Fitzgerald Sullivan & Bottini LLP in September 2010. Before joining the firm, Curtis spent three years as a litigation associate at Latham & Watkins LLP. While there, Curtis successfully litigated a wide range of complex and high-stakes cases in federal and state courts, including in the areas of securities fraud, toxic tort, breach of contract, insurance coverage, and land use, under the mentorship of Ken Fitzgerald. Curtis played an integral role on the City of San Diego's outside legal team responsible for making the Sunroad Towers safe for air traffic. At Chapin Fitzgerald Sullivan & Bottini LLP, Curtis now continues his focus on cases headed for trial.

Curtis is admitted to practice law in both California and Illinois, where he lived in Chicago with his wife, Kelly, before joining Chapin Fitzgerald Sullivan & Bottini LLP. He is a member of the bar associations of California, Illinois, and Chicago and served as an editor of the William & Mary Law Review while in law school at William & Mary School of Law. Curtis has interned for the Honorable F. Bradford Stillman, U.S. Magistrate Judge in the Eastern District of Virginia.
